What are the advantages of plastic filter housings?

1. Better integrity

Our plastic filter shell body is produced by one-piece injection molding process, with no welding points and no side leakage. It is understood that there are some welded or adhesive filter shells on the market, and the welding points are prone to liquid leakage, which may cause injury to the operator and affect the operational safety of the whole project. In contrast, our integral injection molded plastic filter housing has better integrity and can better ensure the safe operation of the whole project.

2、Stronger resistance to temperature and pressure

At present, the temperature of most PP, PVC, UPVC and other plastic filters on the market is generally not higher than 45 degrees Celsius, and the pressure-bearing capacity is generally lower than 6 bar, while the working temperature of our plastic filter housings can reach 90 degrees Celsius. Our plastic filter housing body is designed with a curved structure, and its curved structure happens to be in complete contact with the sealing ring inside the basket, which improves the sealing between the filter basket and the inner wall of the housing. In addition, the sealing structure inside the filter basket is also designed to fit the international standard filter bag ring, which also improves the sealing performance between the filter basket and the filter bag. Overall, the sealing structure inside the plastic bag filter housing almost avoids the leakage of liquid inside the filter housing and ensures that the downstream liquid is not polluted.

5. Easier installation and replacement

Mabao provides two types of plastic filter housings: rotating bolt cover type and screw cap type. The filter basket inside the bag filter housing is designed with a handle, and the cartridge filter housing has fewer fittings, making it easier to install and replace the filter bag or cartridge. Moreover, the whole process of installing and replacing the filter cartridge does not require any tools, making the operation process more convenient.

6. Simpler operation and maintenance

The inner and outer walls of our cartridge filter housings and bag filter housings are polished to prevent residual liquid crystallization on the inner wall of the housing after the filter housing is hung. When the filter housing is restarted, downstream contamination caused by liquid crystallization on the inner wall can be avoided. It also allows the operator to clean the filter housing more easily, saving time and cost.

7. Longer service life

The material is modified and reinforced by polypropylene. It has excellent chemical corrosion, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature and high pressure resistance, abrasion resistance and aging resistance than PP material. While PVC and UPVC materials are easy to aging under strong UV irradiation.
